花鳥園でランチを！- Lunch Time in the Bird Park

ガー　ガー

あ、カモさんだよ。

掛川花鳥園の門をくぐると、カモやペンギンたちがお出迎えをしてくれる。

Gaa Gaa

Meets ducks and penguins at the gate, and they let us enter the garden.

そして、中庭に入ると、

ご覧の通り！

天井に花いっぱいの温室で、バイキング形式のランチが楽しめちゃうんです。

Inside the garden filled with bunch of flowers under the ceiling,

you can enjoy buffets for lunch.

平日は大人１０００円、週末なら１５００円。（詳しくは掛川花鳥園の観光案内へ）

お得なのは平日に時間を割いて来ることですね。

ちなみにジョーはまだ３歳未満だから無料でした。一番お得な存在ですねえ。

My son, still under 3 years old, was free. He's very lucky boy, isn't he?

じゃ～ん、

僕のプレートはこんな具合です。ヘルシーな和食が豊富ですよ。

あまりきれいに盛ると、またうちの奥さんに、

男のくせに、そんなにきれいに盛りつけるんだね、

と呆れられてしまう。

My plate was like this. What do you think?

If I serve the food so nicely, my wife will be amazed.

デザートには、こんなかわいいおこわもありました。

なんだか、ヒヨコみたいですね。

I remember this was like a rice cake colored in yellow.

At the same time, I imagined chicks were lined up on the plate like this.

ふ～、満腹になると、

妙に落ちついてしまって、これで用は全部済ませた気になってしまう。

いったい何しにここまで来たんだっけ？

いかん、いかん、

鳥さんを見に来たんでしょ？

It was so nice meal. When you finished your meal,

maybe you would forget the real purpose to visit this garden.

赤ずきんちゃんのおもしろ農園 - The Strawberry Fields

遠州灘に沿って国道１５０号線を走っていると、

毎年この時期にイチゴ狩りの看板がいくつも見られる。

なかでも、赤ずきんちゃんの大きな看板が存在をアピールしているのは、

「赤ずきんちゃんのおもしろ農園」。（お店のＨＰ）

Passing the route 150 along the coast "Enshunada",

you will find a large number of the strawberry fields.

I brought my family to one of them standing out,"Akazukinchan no Omoshiro Noen".

ちなみに僕がここに来るのは今年で４回目。

結婚して１年目を除き、その後は毎年この時期になると来ている。

いわば僕の家族にとって毎年の恒例行事となっている。（去年来た時の記事はこちら）

In fact, this is the 4th time to visit here.

Except the first year of the marriage, we've come here every year.

Yah, we are supposed to come here every year to enjoy strawberry picking.

バリアフリーのハウスもあり、

子連れの場合はベビーカーでもそのまま入れちゃいますよ。

なかには、お年寄りを車いすに乗せて遠足に来ている方も見られました。

The greenhouses are pushed up this way,

specially designed for the disabled to enter by wheelchair,

and the small children to enter by stroller.

あれ？

ジョーは今日ベビーカーに乗ってなかったね。

バリアフリーでも手が届くの？

と心配したが、この通り、ちゃぁんと背が届きましたよ。

Hey Joe!

You are not on the stroller today?

But you are lucky!

The fields are not so high.

You still can reach the strawberry, can't you?

大好きなイチゴ、

こんなに大きくて、真っ赤なのが好きなだけ食べられるよ！

What a big and pretty is a strawberry, isn't it!

Now you can eat as many as you like!

あらら、

こんなところで遊んでいるのは、お店の子かな？

なんだか面白そうな遊びをしているねえ、と近寄っていくのはうちの息子ジョー。

どこへ行っても、子ども同士って通じ合うものがあるようですね。

国道１５０号線を御前崎に向かって走り、

掛川の大東町を過ぎた辺りで右手に見えるサンサンファームのすぐ東隣り。

Access by car:

From Hamamatsu, you can take route 150 toward Omaezaki.

Right after Daitou-cho of Kakegawa, you will find it to the next of "Sun-sun-farm".  -> Map is here!

治一郎のバームクーヘン

甘いものを前にすると、

人はどうして手段を選ばず、それを手にしようと試みるのだろうか。

昨年末にオープンしたバームクーヘンのお店、治一郎。

お店の前にある大きな看板の前に来ると、

た、たしかに、

人を惹きつける、磁石のような強い引力を感じた。

開店時間の９時よりも、１０分程前に来てみたが、

既にお店の前には何台か車が停まっており、入り口前に列を成していた。

僕もその中に混じって並んでいたが、

どうして僕がこんなミーハーなことをしているのだろう、と思った。

実は、前日の夕方にうちの奥さんが長蛇の列を並んで待ったのに買えなかったので、

翌日に僕が代わりに買いに来たのである。

レジの前で店員さんが用意してくれているのを待っているあいだに、

カメラを首からぶら下げたまま、ショーウィンドウに向けて、

つい、シャッターを１枚切ってしまった。

パシャ！

実家のおみやげに、と思い、

１，８００円のバームクーヘンを買った。

形は天竜杉をイメージしているそうです。

僕は個人的に缶ミカンと杏仁豆腐のフルーツポンチに最高の喜びを感じるが、

治一郎のバームクーヘンもそれに匹敵するほどのおいしさであった。

場所：浜松市西区大平台。

アクセス：佐鳴湖西岸を南北に走る大通り沿い。東側にセブンイレブンと杏林堂がある交差点を挟んで西側。
